How does a newly renovated restaurant capture the elusive magic of a dive bar? It helps to have a client with deep ties to iconic restaurant scenes in Austin, Baltimore and Nashville and a deep well of willingness for the weird. We used saturated colors, LED tube lights, wood paneling, and patterned VCT tile to make a space that is a little bit 70s, a little bit rock and roll, and entirely Richmond.
