Sleepy Hollow House

Renovation + Addition - 4,406 SF - Richmond, VA

This 1969 colonial had plenty of space but just missed the mark of its family’s needs: low ceilings, a convoluted flow, and underutilized bonus space but a limited primary suite. We reconfigured the house, swapped one of the two front doors for a bay window, bumped out a dormer, and created a new back door to the large patio. With a rearranged the kitchen and added a new bar and wine storage area, a full primary suite with sitting area, a luxe home office and a new powder bath this house finally feels like the perfect home.
